バスティアーンズ／今までの信号システムは、ほんの短時間しか見えない。このシステムはガスでふくらませる三角形の布でできている。三つの部分が、曇の昼間、晴れの昼間、夜間にそれぞれ分かれている。その結果、24時間救助者から見えるようになっている。

Most conventional signaling systems are visible only for a short time. Unless visible, the chance of a survivor being rescued is lost. This system is designed to increase the possibility of rescue. It consists of the triangular sheet inflated with gas. The triangle consists of three parts for cloudy, bright, and night conditions to ensure that the survivor is visible throughout the entire day.
