加藤／あかりというものが、視覚的に人を落ち着かせる効果以外にも可能性を持つのではないかと考えた。あかりをつける行為によって、人々が冷静になれる時間、その場のチームワークを生み出したい。
対馬／自分が一人ではないと知った人は、おのずと冷静になれるはずです。"ensemble process" は、調和への過程を指し示す、キッカケなのです。

Kato: I considered the possibility of lighting having affects other than a calming effect through direct visibility. I have endeavored to facilitate a calm and rational interval, and the development of teamwork during this interval through the act switching on lighting.
Tsushima: It should be possible for people to become calm and rational if they become aware that they are not alone. The "Ensemble Process" points to, and becomes the start of, a harmonizing process.
