この照明は発光源を持たない。その意味ではこれは照明器具ではない。“あかり”である。
場所、資源、設備の制限によって照明器具は、不自由なモノへとなる。
この“あかり”は蓄光シート、透明ナイロンシート、ホログラムフィルムによって出来ている。
日中の光・熱はホログラムフィルムによって反射・拡散し、増氾した光は蓄光シートに貯蓄され、夜間のあかりへと変わる。
場所、資源、設備の不自由さに対して、無関係に成立するこの“あかり”は、唯一自然環境との調和によって成立している。使用者の行為と自然環境がリテラルに表れる“あかり”の提案である。
このシートに大きさの制限はない。厚さは３ｍｍ。収納・使用は極端に単純である。提案している形状、用途は一つの例にすぎない。その展開、可能性は無限に広がる。

This lighting has no power supply. In this sense it is not a lighting but an "Akari" No lighting is free from restrictions on places for setting up or on resources. That makes a lighting inconvenient to use.
This is made up of a light-storing sheet, a transparent nylon sheet and a hologram film.
During the daytime light and heat are reflected and diffused by the hologram and superfluous light is stored in the light-storing sheet, which emits light at night.This is the proposal of an Akari which can be produced in perfect harmony with natural environment. It has none of the above-mentioned restrictions. The sheets can be of any size. It is just 3mm thick, easy to use, easy to store away. This proposal is just an example. The design has infinite possibilities of development.
