昔から音楽は常に普遍的な言語であらゆる障壁を乗り越えるものであった。しかしながら、デジタル音楽技術の出現は、あらゆる人がどこにいようとも自分自身の音楽にプラグを接続しているという急速に伸びる都市の風潮を生み出していく事になった。かくして人は自らの周り状況や周りの人々から切り離されていった。
光は音楽をさらに新しい普遍的言語に変える。それは、音の視覚化を可能にし、それによって音楽の享受に新しい命を吹き込むことを可能にした。耳にプラグを差し込んでいることは、もはや対話と周りへの意識を失うことを意味しない。その時はじめて光は、共振と活気を都市へ取り戻し、万人の参加する全く新しい都市の光景を形成するのだ。

Music has always been a universal language, one that surpasses all barriers. The advent of digital music has, however, led do a fast growing urban trend in which everyone is plugged in to their own music wherever they might be. One becomes detached from one’s surroundings and those around oneself.
Light translates music into yet a new universal language, one which enables the visualization of sound, thereby breathing a new life into the enjoyment of music. Not only is one able to outwardly express and share one’s style and taste whilst enjoying one’ s choice of music privately, being plugged in no longer means losing interaction and awareness of one’s surroundings. It is then that light can bring vibrancy and liveliness back to the city to from a whole new urban landscape – one that everyone has a part in.
