おそらく、照明を使わなくなることは今後も無いと思います。 また、エネルギーを効率的に活用することが出来る技術は大変発達して来ています。 そこで、私は、エネルギーとは違う形で地球環境の改善に役立つことが出来るあかりを造りたいと考えました。 この照明は光触媒で造られている為、空気中のNOxやSOｘ、ホルムアルデヒドなどの有害物質を除去し、空気をキレイにすることが出来ます。 その光触媒である酸化チタン（TiO2）の分子構造をモチーフにし、ランプシェードをデザインしました。 使用するたびに空気をキレイにする、地球を大事にできるあかりです。

There wouldn’t come the days when the use of light would come to an end. While, on the other hand, techniques of maximum utilization of energy have been highly developed.
With these in mind I tried to create a light fixture which would help improve the environment of the earth in a
different way from further tapping of energy resources. My light made from light catalysts is a purifier of the air from such harmful materials as NOx and SOx and formaldehyde.
I designed the lamp shade with the molecular structure as its motif. Every time you use this lamp you are extending a friendly hand toward the earth.
