Giving Birth to Light Although performing intercourse is an act of creation, it requires much energy, “Do Sex, Make Light” collects the expended energy from sex and generates a mood light which increases the sexual tension to create more pleasurable experience. A generator implants into the mattress of the bed creates electricity when vertical movement is applied. The unsteady flow of electricity created by generator will slowly revive the lamp as though the light was coming to life. The light is then projected onto the two people having sex to recreate their acts of love on the wall as shadows. The newly born shadow, which began its life as the act of intercourse, will create a sexually intense atmosphere, thus giving back to its creators. The design of the lamp was inspired from the flurrying scarf of Venus who is also known as the Goddess of sex.
