テクノロジーが生活の中で生かされる時に必要なことは、いかに日常生活の風景に順応し、自然と調和できるかということだ。
この作品は、プラニラムという新素材を用いており、照明器具と一輪挿しの2つの機能を持っている。生活の風景の中にそっと存在し、“凛”とした情景を醸し出すデザインをめざした。

I have come to realize that when we adapt technology to the practical use in our everyday life,the most important is how to harmonize it with the life scenes and with nature. By using planilum as its material,I have given my design,"Rin",two functions: one is lighting, and the other is a vase for a single flower. A peaceful existence in our daily life, it provides us an atmosphere of calm vigor.
