ボルフ／ランプが置かれる場所といっしょになって、機能できることが重要である。そこでランプとテーブルを結びつける方法を発見した。それにより仕事場全体の作業性がアップする。もしテーブルの天板が半透明で、あまり厚みがなければ、このランプを逆さまをにおくことで、すぐに間接照明板ができる。

When I read about the competition my first thought was to make a lamp. After sketching on it I found it was important that the lamp could function with its surroundings. After a while I found out how to combine a table with a lamp so that a workspace developed. It was logical to make a table that was an ordinary work table and at the same time could work as a light table. By reversing the lamp you instantly have alight table, if the tableplate is semitransparent and not to too thick.
