| 「ライティング・エコロジー」からの自由な発想が求められた。しかし結果的に多かったのは、昔のやり方に戻る、自然のイメージを投影するなどの素朴な表現。新しいテクノロジーを用いるなどの積極的な提案や、材料・労力を減らして資源を有効に利用する、という大きな視野からの発想は少なく、いっそうの創意工夫が求められることになった。金賞の「Lightman A Small Stride For A Big Run」は、地面を蹴る力をひかりのエネルギーに変えるというアイディアが斬新で、遊び心も感じられ、ほかの作品とは一線を画した。 |

The theme“ Lighting Ecology” was although it was expected that a variety of creative, imaginative designs inspired by this theme would be brought in, many works were found to have applied a rather straight interpretation of the term, resulting in simple expressions, such as the introduction of traditional methods, or the creation of natural images. Only a few were found to be innovative or portray a flexible interpretation of the theme, for instance by means of seeking the possibility of developing an introducing new technology, or to save materials and labor for improved e ciency in the consumption of resources. These was the impression that further e orts to improve on creativity would be required. However, the Gold Award winning design“ Lightman A Small Stride For A Big Run” was found to be fabulous, and far surpassing other competitors in originality, creativity and providing enjoyment, as clearly seen in its design, where the power exerted when kicking the ground is converted to energy-producing light. |
