It was regrettable that the apprehension of the theme was rather limited and the works had similar nature in common. The criticism of the Jury was also very harsh unlike those in recent years. The gold winne“ ensemble process” among those works, rich creativity in the idea, taking the wall as a lighting unit to resolve the panic of black out, was highly evluated.
However, the impression of the works ended up with too idealistic outcome could not be erased. Many other works had shared the same impression. It can be said that the competition played the role to remind the students to review the essence of industrial design as“ to create things with good use and beauty” which lacked in the many students’ works.
