The technological development, such as LED, a battery and a sensor, gave light freedom. The awarded works strongly expressed such an impression. Especially“ in soft” and“ ori,” won gold in pairs first time in the competition, showed many potentialities for market-able aspects. The works were filled with new ideas indicating future lighting such as interactive characteristics making a user realizing pleasure to interact with light. Compared with outstanding gold winning work, many of the other works left some issues for future because of too weak concept though the works were intricately carried out.
